The Epic American West Tour is produced by our USA Operator - The Travel Chronicle Inc. (TTC). The tour runs between the borders of Mexico and Canada, passing through the states of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, three times per year. There are three possible trip durations*:

14 days – Northern Segment (Space Available)

16 days – Southern Segment (Space Available)

30 days – Complete Tour

*We do not count arrival and departure days as part of the tour. (If you are comparison shopping, you will need to subtract these two days from most other tour itineraries to arrive at a comparable price per day, i.e. a 12 day tour is actually 10 days without counting arrival and departure dates.)

The cost of the tour is $249 per person, per day, double occupancy - subject to these considerations:

Single Supplement = 20%

Complete Tour = 5% Discount

Included:

• All ground transportation for the advertised itinerary, including airport transfers
• Nightly accommodations, including arrival date
• Breakfast and lunch daily
• Fees and/or entry tickets for all advertised destinations
• Additional tours and activities as described on final itinerary
• Basic Medical Travel Insurance

Guest(s) shall be solely responsible for examining the travel insurance coverage provided by TTC, and determining their need for additional coverage.

Not Included (Examples):

• Airfare
• Dinners
• Snacks or drinks separate from meals
• Gratuities for auxiliary driver
• Alcoholic beverages

This is not a guaranteed departure tour - the operator must have a minimum number of subscriptions before the tour can be confirmed.

To begin the process of reserving a place on a particular tour, we and the tour operator will ask you to fill out and sign a subscription agreement. The form can be accessed at the bottom of this page.

Cost of Subscription - $100 per person.

If tour is not fully subscribed two hundred seventy days prior to departure date, fee will be refunded. If Guest(s) withdraw, there is no refund. Many tours require a 50% deposit prior to confirming a tour, so we hope you will appreciate that the subscription process is meant to be less of a burden. The subscription form also provides valuable information needed to organize the tour, and satisfy US law.

IF YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHICH REQUIRES A PERSONAL INTERVIEW AS PART OF THE VISA PROCESS - please schedule your interview as soon as possible after submitting your subscription agreement. Although there is a possibility that you will not be granted a visa, the loss of the visa fees is not a great risk, and we cannot be responsible for those costs. Visa Information

Upon notice of full subscription by thirty guests (or less at the sole discretion of tour operator) a non-refundable* deposit of 50% of the total cost of the subscribed tour will be due within ten days. Guest(s) shall be solely responsible for examining the travel insurance coverage provided by TTC, and determining their need for additional coverage. A non-refundable final payment, minus the subscription fee, is due thirty days prior to the scheduled start of the subscribed tour.

We are currently accepting subscriptions for Fall tours for 2019 and Spring 2020. (See dates below.) All subscriptions are recorded on a first come/first serve basis.

* Visa Denial Exception: If you receive a Notice of Full Subscription, and pay your 50% deposit, that deposit is refundable only if you present evidence of a visa denial within one month of the Notice date. However, we prefer to have visa confirmations prior to announcing a full subscription, so please start the process immediately.

Joining the Tour:

When you are ready to fill out and return your subscription agreement, use the information under the heading "Choosing Your Tour" to assist you in finding your preferred “Leaving from” location, date, and tour duration. You may then contact us for the subscription form, or download it from the "Subscription Agreement" link below. You may print it, or fill it out electronically. If you would like to return the form via email by scanning and attaching it, or by emailing it directly from the form itself, please contact us using the form above.

The following directions work for both the Subscription Agreement and Option Preferences Form:

If you prefer to have a paperless transaction, it is simple to fill out the form and email it directly. Start by downloading and opening the file, and enlarging the percentage until it is easy to read. Click on the “Sign” button at the upper right, and choose the “Add Text” option to get started. The cursor looks like an upside-down T, so use the horizontal line at the bottom to align with the line you would like fill, click, and you are ready to type.

The font type doesn’t matter, but a font size of 10 is a good choice.

For the subscription agreement, add your initials and signature where needed.

Don't forget to save the file(s) for your records.

When you are finished, you can click the envelope icon to email it with your own software, or use the “Send Signed Document” button if you want to use the Adobe service. In either case, use the address we provided.

Thank you for joining the tour; TTC will contact you as soon as we have your subscription agreement.

Security and Privacy:

1. The Travel Chronicle Inc. does not process, and has no access to, any credit card or other private payment information.

2. Information on Subscription Agreements is not shared with any third parties except for insurance purposes. Subscription Agreements are not not stored on any computer, and are therefore not accessible from the internet.

3. Your email address is used only for communications related to the tour, and is not shared with any third party without your written consent.

ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION:

You will be sent an invoice via email for your Subscription Agreement Fee and subsequent deposits, with payment instructions.

Special Notice

Many of the destinations we visit have experienced dramatic increases in visitor numbers in the last few years. By avoiding the months of July and August we will miss the largest crowds, but that strategy alone will no longer assure availability of the accommodations and activities we want to provide for you.

Our goal is to have every tour completely reserved one full year in advance of the departure date of that particular tour.

Beginning in August 2018, if any tour is not sold out nine months prior to its departure date - we will not run that tour.

If you are looking for somewhere to go in the next few months, please put that aside for a moment and think about where you might want to go next year - or even the year after that. Perhaps you have never before planned a vacation so far in advance, but if you can, the reward will be one of the best journeys of your life.

Our first job as your guide is to provide you with the advice you need to have the best possible experience. We will then take you to some of the most beautiful and desirable destinations in the world - located in some of the least populated areas of the United States.

The secret to our success is to start planning ahead of everyone else.
